KB Home Remodeling is proud to offer a service which we feel sets us apart from our competitors and reflects our strong commitment to customer care.  This service is called our “Free Home Evaluation.”  When you schedule your free “in home” consultation for the home improvement or remodeling project you have in mind, we will take the time to provide a free home evaluation at “no charge.”

What is the Free Home Evaluation Service?
The home evaluation service allows prospective new customers to have the “expert eyes” of a licensed general contractor to help identify those things in their home that may need to be addressed as “repair and maintenance” issues.  We will walk your home (interior and exterior) right along with you, pointing out and noting items that merit your attention.  Something as simple as a light water stain on a ceiling could be an indication of a larger problem brewing, and certainly something a homeowner would need to be made aware of to consider a resolution.  Oftentimes a general contractor can see things that a homeowner simply cannot.  We have typically found this evaluation to take about an hour and to be helpful in bringing many important potential issues to the forefront for our homeowners.  It is not required that any of the work be contracted nor performed by KB Home Remodeling.  The purpose of these home evaluations is to demonstrate that we genuinely care about the condition of our customer’s homes, which is likely their biggest asset.

What the Free Home Evaluation “Is Not”
Our free home evaluation service is not a certified home inspection performed by a licensed home inspector.  Rather, it is general review of the accessible areas of the home. If you feel you need a more detailed home inspection, you will need to hire a certified home inspector to insure that all areas of your home are thoroughly inspected.

What Can You Expect at the End of Your Home Evaluation?
You will receive a listing of those potentially problematic items identified during the “walk through” of your home’s interior and exterior.  If you would like an actual quote to be provided at that time, just let us know!  If you would like to review the items identified and contact us at a later date for a specific quote or quotes, we are happy to provide that as well.
